Fine Tuning Your Poker Game

Are you an advanced poker player, semi-pro, or Professional Poker Player? If you haven't been playing poker for a year or more, the answer is basically no. Many poker players confuse running good with being an advanced player, or a "Pro". Until you have experienced the highs and lows of poker I don't believe you should classify yourself as a professional poker player or even an advanced poker player for that matter. Poker is an amazingly simple game to play on the surface, but to play poker at an advanced level requires an incredible amount of knowledge including, math, probability, and most importantly psychology. The truly great players make an art form of blending these disciplines together. | |
